  1. What is the minimum screen size?

The minimum screen size offered is 3.0m wide x 2.8m high. For smaller foil screen sizes, please view our Musion EyeCandy range

 

  1. What is the minimum space required for a Musion Eyeliner setup?

The minimum size required for a life size hologram up to 2m tall is 3.0m wide x 2.7m high x 3.0m deep.

 

  1. What AV equipment is required?

We recommend DLP Projectors with 6,000 ANSI lumen+, SVGA Resolution+ and an HD digital video player.

 

  1. Does the stage have to be a black box?

No, only a black or dark backdrop is required to create image contrast.

 

  1. How much ambient light can be in the room?

The more ambient light requires a larger projector to light the screen. Normal powered lights do not normally pose a problem.

 

  1. Does Musion work in direct sunlight?

It will severely de-saturate the image, like any projection system. In high brightness environments it is best to use LED.

  1. What footage can be used?

  1. How long does an Eyeliner system take to set-up?

From 3 hours for a 3.0m wide x 2.8m high foil screen and upwards depending on the size of the foil.

 

  1. Can we rig the foil ourselves?

Yes. For the optimum viewing experience however, we recommend our trained technicians to assist with the installation.

 

  1. Where in the world can this be done?

We have a worldwide dealer network with more than 25 resellers that can support all countries.

 

  1. What are the Health and Safety considerations for Musion Eyeliner?

There are no Health and Safety considerations for Musion Eyeliner. Musion Eyeliner Foil complies with US and European Fire safety standards NFPA 701-2004 M2 and ASTM E84 (see certificates) and does not pose any Health and Safety/ fire risk.
Many companies try and imitate Musion by offering inferior foil screens designed for industrial or food packaging use which do not comply with Health and Safety and could pose a significant fire risk.
Musion and its resellers are the only supplier of flame retardant large polyester screens in the world. If in doubt, seek an indemnity from the supplier protecting you from third party infringement.

 

  1. I have noticed other companies supply foil based solutions?

Only representatives authorised by Musion are allowed to carry the Musion Eyeliner Logo and Trademark on their website. Beware the pirates!

 

  1. Why do I need a licence to use Musion?

Musion is a product protected by patents and trademarks. The Eyeliner Foil is also a proprietary product. Musion’s licence is little different to the many licences offered by software companies.
