Mariah Carey performs in five simultaneous holographic gigs for
Deutsche Telekom
Mariah Carey appeared before audiences in Germany, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro
and Poland simultaneously on 17th November 2011 as a Musion 3D projection.
Interacting with real dancers and live audiences in each location, this
created a unique ‘life is for sharing moment', as part of Deutsche
Telekom's 'Life is for sharing' campaign.
Carey said: "I think this holographic technology is
the first step on an interesting journey, there are so many things that could
be done, to have the experience of being there and to be able to combine
the technology, it's so vast that the possibilities are endless, I think
that this is probably just a tiny step in the direction we can go as artists
and performers to really help unite our fans, our audiences and ultimately
hopefully the world."
Saatchi & Saatchi managed the spectacular, Carey's holographic form was
created by Musion, t he events were produced by @radical.media and MPC
provided the animation and special effects.
